BBQ @ Handy's Market

It always smells great when I drive by so this weekend I'm finally going to the Handy's market on Magnolia and Buena Vista to get BBQ. Any recommendations?

    1. I don't think it's "BBQ", is it? It's just meat slapped over charcoal until it's done. Tri tip, Chicken or Turkey drums. Do they have ribs?

The tri tip is dry, the chicken under seasoned and to salty and the ribs I've seen are pretty fatty and not in a good way. Do yourself a favor and keep going on Magnolia towards North Hollywood and got to KC BBQ or treat yourself to Boneyard.

I have to agree. Tried everything because it smelled so good. It was just ok. Not worth going back. BTW I also hear that Peco's Bills on Victory below Western does very good BBQ sandwiches. My Husband and I are going to try this weekend and report back
