A resto w/ a great selection of appetizers?

I am taking out my colleagues next Tuesday for drinks after work. In the past, our group has been to Starfish, BeerBistro, Pravda, Nami, Takesushi, etc.

We usually do not order main meals but a bunch of appetizers to share instead (plus drinks, of course). Thus I am looking for a place with a decent selection of sharable appetizers and drinks, appetizers being more important. No preference on type of food. Any price range.

Thought about going to Madeline's but is a bit too far from us. FYI, I work at Bay & Queen and would prefer walking distance (would go as far as a 15 min walk).

Any suggestion would be great. Thanks a lot in advance!

Sorry I should have mentioned all that we've been to. I went to Ki with colleagues already once, and personally I've been to both Trevor's and Nota Bene. The thing with Nota Bene is that their appetizers are not really for sharing. Don't get me wrong, I love their food.

Trevor, I've only been there once and it seemed alright. However I didn't have any appetizers there. What would you recommend at Trevor?

i don't work downtown anymore but i used to frequent Trevor's afterwork. You can check out their bar menu online at their website...

Its changed a little since i was last there but the tempura shrimp, nachos, and mac and cheese were always great, as were the fries!

Thanks for that. I remember thinking their lounge menu was interesting but clearly never tried it. Great!

I am still open to other suggestions! Thanks everyone.

    2. There's a new spot called Forte that has been getting great reviews and seems to fit with the general atmosphere you've been going for. They allegedly have a nice lounge space as well. And they're in your nabe (Richmond and York). I haven't been there myself, but it's definitely on my radar.

I also like Red's and Vertical, although they're pretty traditional financial districts picks (and Vertical is better saved for summer when you can hang out on their patio).

I've had mixed luck at Eight (the wine bar at the Cosmopolitan Hotel), but it may give you another local option.

Rabbit, I just took a look at their lounge menu and it sounds pretty great! I am interested in trying their frog legs and charcuterie... Forte sounds like a decent option and if I do end up there, I will definitely post a review on it!

Thank you very much for the suggestion.
