Detroit - Chicken Fried Steak?

Anyone able to recommend a place in SE Michigan to find chicken fried steak
of reasonable quality?

    There's a family rest/diner on John R in Madison Heights, i think between 12 and 11 mile, Betty Ross II. I know it has southern biscuits and southern breakfasts, so I think it's a good bet for chicken-fried steak. Lots of people swear by the home made chow.

      Don't know your location, rainsux, but Southern Fires on Detroit's near east side might be the first place you want to try. Wonderful chicken fried steak.
