Shalel Lounge?

is the food decent or is it just a cozy hang for drinks?

and is it still as absurdly packed as i've read, or can you get a seat during primetime?

Shalel is a great when not crowded, which is impossible to predict. It can also be uneven service wise. I would not bother to even think of eating there, unless you a re starving.

Cozy quickly gives way to cramped there. Foodwise, the basics are fair(hummus, lamb cigars). Most people are not going there to eat - except maybe each others faces!

Personally, I think one of the now many wine bars (Vai, Wine/Roses, Barcibo etc.) is a better choice.
