Need Wheelchair-accessible Chinatown Recs.

BklynBlaise Jan 5, 2009 11:11 AM

Does anyone have any suggestions for a good wheelchair-accessible restaurant in Chinatown, preferably with Chinese banquet style food (or at least a seafood-centric menu)? It'll be a party of 16 people celebrating a birthday this Friday, so hopefully no place too divey. I looked into Amazing 66, but aparently they have steps in the front entrance. Does anyone know if Fuleen is accessible? Someone else suggested Ping's on Mott St. Any thoughts?

Thanks in advance.

Fuleen should work as it is on the ground floor. Ping's entrance has steps, and I think they have steps on the interior.

Thanks ScoopG--I had a hunch you would be familiar.

Know of any other good spots? What's the word on Oriental Garden these days?

Haven't been to OG in a long long time. Board reaction here seems mixed.

I celebrated my birthday at Danny Ng's, and enjoyed it a lot. Its on the first floor and from memory, there were no steps at the door.

My friend who is wheel chair bound eats at Jing Fong. I've never been there myself.
