It's Thai--New in Echo Park
It's Thai has recently opened in the old Tantawan space in Echo Park, on Glendale Blvd. just north of Sunset.
The restaurant has new owners and a new, industrial chic interior. The menu is more like Rambutan's than Mai Ploy's. We had just a few things on our first order there:
--Nur Yang bbq beef: very delicious, with a deep, smoky hot sauce
--very tasty Kua Gai noodles
--a more than adequate Prik King with fresh green beans
We ordered to-go, and everything was packaged well for travel.
One nice aspect of the menu is that many of the dishes are offered as dinner specials, so you get the entree with rice and salad, which is great for solo diners.
The quality of the produce was good, and the prices are in-line: $ 8-10 for most entrees. They also deliver within a 3 mile radius,
