ISO French crepes with Nutella

Lettucepray Jan 5, 2009 09:53 AM

I just returned from a vacation in Paris where I discovered the most delicious street food - the Nutella crepe (and don't forget the sliced banana). I am now addicted and in need of a fix. Where can I get it in Manhattan?

The real question is does anyone make bananna nutella crepes with french or italian nutella?

Crepes on Columbus on Columbus Ave. between 108th & 109th St. has it too. They have a variety of chocolate crepes and quality is pretty good.

My friend likes the nutella crepes at IHOP here in Rehoboth. Are there IHOPs in Manhattan?

You can get it from a lady called Madeleine in a dodgy looking internet cafe on 49th St and 8th Ave from Wednesday to Sundays. Very thin and crispy, I used to eat a lemon sugar one every weekend!

The Creperie on MacDougal or Ludlow is quick and open to the street. GG's daughter loves nutella/banana crepes.

                merci beaucoup

Isn't it a shame that no one makes them on the street for a quick snack, so much more tastier (and healthier) than the NYC dish-water dogs.

Bar Breton also offers crepes with nutella.

I think there are a couple of trucks across town that sell crepes. One is in midtown close to MOMA, one in Soho, etc. In the summer they are in every single street fair.

I'm not endorsing them, but you'll find street crepes at all street fairs during the warmer months.
