closed or closing fort lauderdale area

When we were in Ft. lauderdale and Hollywood in November, we couldn't believe the number of restaurants that closed - especially on Las Olas. I was just wondering if more places have closed after Thanksgiving. Is there a recent list somewhere? We will be back in the area soon and hope that our favorites are still there!

The only place that I can think of that closed recently on Las Olas would be Tommy's -- but Teal Bistro Americana almost immediately opened up in the same space.

Too bad. We really liked Tommy's. Maybe Teal Bistro will be our new favorite.

Louie Louie is closed , but Johnny V has opened a casual place there called Smith and Jones. Went the other night and thought it was alright. Would be back for a burger.
