So for three of us girls who are opting to stay in with dinner and board games....what would you recommend? Needs to travel well since I'm 45 minutes away. Thanks in advance.

To me board games mean sturdy desserts(less chance of mess on the game board):

    > Mini tarts filled with a variety of fillings: lemon, jam, butter tart, chocolate mousse even
    > Brownies and/or blondies
    > Barefoot Contessa's lemon pound cake
    > If your not done with gingerbread then I'd suggest Gramercy Tavern Gingerbread

      I like tiramisu or cupcakes.

Chocolate covered grapes! I can get you the recipe if you like. That way, you just put out a bowl and keep munching throughout the game. They are best if they are kept cool, but in most parts of the country right now, that shouldn't be a problem during your drive.
