Birthday Lunch in NOVA

I'm looking for suggestions for where to take a friend for her 21st birthday lunch in Northern Virginia. We're looking for somewhere that is relatively inexpensive and has good food and an interesting drinks list. The Fairfax city/Vienna area would be best but we could do the Clarendon/Courthouse area too.

There are quite a few restaurants that would fit that description. You might get more responses if you provide more information, eg what "relatively inexpensive" means, if there's a particular type of food you want, what type of atmosphere, etc.

Liberty Tavern? I just had the gnocchi the other night and it was to die for. Not sure if it has an extensive "interesting" drinks list, but i think its a pretty well rounded place for what you want.

Both of these have great food, nice bars and decent wine/cocktail lists:

        Artie's in Fairfax Circle
        Bazin's in Vienna

          How about Tallulah's in Clarendon?
