Adour, L'Atelier or Corton for my husband's bday?

fhonmymind Jan 4, 2009 04:58 PM

I've narrowed it down to this 3. He's expressed interest in L'Atelier and Corton. And I don't think I can go wrong with Adour (from the reviews I read). Please help me decide!

Thanks in advance.

I'm not very helpful b/c I haven't been to any of these, but from what I've read lately, Corton is high on my list (if not top of it) for my next special celebration destination place.

I have been to all three, and they are all good - but I'd say Corton, because it's new and is currently riding the crest of a bunch of great reviews. It's also somewhat cheaper than Adour, and a lot cheaper than Robuchon, if that's a factor.

The one problem is that the popularity of Corton may make it difficult to obtain a reservation. Robuchon is at least twice as expensive as the other two. I

I'm expecting to spend $600 including tax, tip.

How much is the tasting menu + wine pairing at Robuchon? I'm sure it'll send me over budget, but curious how much more.

When do these 3 restaurants start accepting reservations? 1 month in advance?
