Dinah's on Mount Pleasant - Closing

As of January 3rd, they will be restricting their operations to catering. Wanda's will still be open to retail.

Too bad, as it was a fantastic last minute place for hors-d'ouvres.

  1. I loved their duck quesadillas, their power salad, and a couple of other items, but found their prices to be quite steep. It is too bad, and I have the disheartening feeling we'll be seeing more prepared-foods shops closing down in the next year... or two, depending on how long this recession/depression lasts.

I am still in mourning for Dinah's Tiger Lily on Queen which closed years ago. I lived for their noodle soup and dumplings!!!

(still have a small pack of their special blend of jasmine tea left...sigh!)

I agree, Tatai. I had stopped in once but had a case of extreme sticker shock and left empty-handed. Unfortunate, as the food at Tiger Lily's was so fantastic. Still can remember a coconut-fruit (pineapple perhaps?) rice pudding from years back.

Why did Tiger Lily close? And when will they get it together and re-open?!
