two special places in bangalore
the first is called dewars, just off the railway cantonment bridge. built in the 1920's to serve british soldiers, its a bar (which happily flouts the no-smoking rule) with a genius serving up snacks: the brain masala and fried fish are supreme.
the next is savoury in fraser town. kannadigas returning from the middle east set up this wonderful spot; i ate some of the best hummus, chicken with garlic sauce (no it wasn't toom, more yogurt+garlic) i've ever eaten.

Just found this posting, researching brain dishes. Never had brain masala, Howler. Is it in slices, ala MRI?
