Finally tried out Barefoot Coffee. We called to make sure they were open New Year's Day and they were. Got there around 7pm.

Off 280 - Lawrence Expwy in the Anderson's Big Screen shopping center, next to House of Bagels & Freedo's Burritos.

Some tables & couches right when you enter. The Cashier is on the Right side & menu is above the register.

We got:

Coffee Latte $4 - huge cup. Nice coffee art, strong coffee.
Caffe Brule $4.25 - small cup w/ the nice blow torched sugar on top. Warned it was hot so waited a bit before drinking. Nice, though strong.

Two drinks was $8.25. Credit cards taken.

Some more seats in the back.

One unisex bathroom where there's art on the walls & ceiling. There's chalk where you can also draw on the chalkboards along the walls.

Will be back for the Iced Latte $4 in the Summer.

I've been using barefoot beans in my espresso machine for a while, and they're on par with blue bottle for most people. I have occasionally gotten better crema out of BB, but Barefoot is very consistent and easy to order from. Underrated!

Thanks for the report. I stop there on the way to work once in a blue moon. Epicenter Cafe on Harrison between 4th & 3rd streets in SF uses Barefoot for their drinks. It's a nice place with free WiFi too.
