The recipe for Chicken Divan did jog my memory about that great old standby for leftover chicken - and I had some in the fridge with some very nice fresh broccoli - but I sure didn't use the WaPo's recipe.
I pulled out the old Craig Claiborne NYT Cookbook from the 70s.
