Does anyone know where I can find Spanish padron peppers in the area, or of any specialty store that sells Spanish cheeses and groceries? Thanks!

I've never seen any, so I ended up growing mine with seeds sent from Spain.

You can get the seed for Spanish padron peppers at Renee's Garden - http://www.reneesgarden.com/

Bower's has Spanish and Basque cheeses. Canales carries various grades of Serrano ham even Iberico as well as Spanish Chorizo and smoked Paprika (different counter).

When in stock La Tienda from Willamsburg will deliver Padron peppers (or any other number of Spanish specialties) in 1 or 2 days.

re: atarah Trader Joes in Annapolis has a 10.4 oz jar of 'Roasted Piquillo Peppers', but from Peru. I have already used a couple jars....stuff the peppers with a little goat cheese and quickly saute' - yeah
