DaVinci's (Wake Forest)

It has been a year since anyone has mentioned them...

They are a little outside my usual range, but I have made it there a handful of times in '08. The steaks and sausages I tried were really good.

I decided to order a prime rib for New Years Eve from them. My first time cooking one, so I had a number of questions which I hit them with just before Christmas. Probably one of their business times of the year, but they were great and willing to help. I got a call several days later from the female half, Amy I believe. She wanted to double check on my needs since the size ordered seemed too big for my group. She asked good questions, gave good input and we adjusted the order. I really apprecated that level of concern and customer service. Especially since I'm not a regular customer.

Cooked it at friends home last night and it was AMAZING! Even with some oven issues, this was incredibly tender, flavorful, melt-in-your mouth meat. Today the whole group is still just commenting sporadically about how good it was!

Just wanted to pass it on....

Happy New Year!

It seems they have closed. I noticed mention of this on Yelp. The phone number has been disconnected.

Does anyone have information about this?

I am so bummed...the place was a great resource for northern Wake county.
