Bubby's Brooklyn Need Recs

Invited to Bubby's Brooklyn Saturday night. Asking my chow pals for best and what to avoid. Thanks.

Slightly less than mediocre. And to add insult to injury, they raised their prices about a year ago at least 40%.

Still draws a crowd at weekend brunch because it's very kid friendly. Last time I was there, I had stereo screaming kids at either side of my table.

One redeeming feature: they make a nice margarita with fresh lime juice, OJ and decent taquila in a pint glass for $7 (last I checked)

for breakfast i like their cheddar, apple, bacon omelette.

and my friend swears they have the very best turkey burgers in the city.

the bubbys in brooklyn has horrible service. the food is merely ok...i actually enjoy some of it. but the place is just so sad...used to be extremely promising when it first opened.

Actually, breakfast is safest. Spinach was insanely garlicky, but good if you like garlic, and mashed potatoes were fine - BBQ actually acceptable, as long as your expectations are realistic. Had a very very dry lamb burger once, not to be repeated, but stick to the basics and it should be OK.

Pretty mediocre all around. Maybe a burger is OK.
