I ate at Anise Waterfront Taverna and had such a great time. Between the food and being on the river and the excellent attention I could not ask for more. I had the lambchops which arrived with lemon potatoes and a vegetable and a very generous serving. Between the food and the owers Lisa & Randi who showed me and made me feel like I was a member of this family in this very comfortable place. I will be back soon.

I spent New Year’s Eve at Anise Waterfront Taverna. Oh, what a night! I had the best time ever. The ambiance is magnificent. The food is to die for! I particularly enjoyed when Gigi, one of the owners’ brought out the Flaming Cheese Saganoki, the presentation was superb. I had never seen anything like it. The four owners went out of their way to make everyone feel at home by dancing and mingling with everyone. There’s great chemistry amongst them. I really liked Randi who had a smile for everyone and walked around all the tables greeting the crowd . If you are looking for a great night out to enjoy with friends, great food and a great atmosphere you must visit Anise Waterfront Taverna!

Great news! I just read this, but I am taking a group of at least 15 there in a few weeks and am relieved to read these comments!

I've returned since the visit referenced in that thread and enjoyed it even more than the first time. I had a great whole fish stuffed with rosemary, pine nuts and raisins.
