Best hangover food for New Year's Day?

Last year I did Sapp coffee shop and loved filling my alcohol soaked belly with spicy pork blood thickened broth.

What would be good this year? I think it needs to be somewhere grimy, cheap and low key.

  1. Go to Pepy's Galley at the bowling alley on Venice. Order machaca and chilaquiles with a side of salsa and share with a friend.

Or go to Santouka in Mitsuwa and get some steaming ramen, not grimy but one of the best hangover cures ever.

    Happy new year!

I know! After posting that reply I drove over there hell bent on getting some but they were closed. Booo.

    1. 4 sausage McMuffins with no egg. Get rid of the tops and combine to make 2 sandwiches. 2 hash browns and an extra large coke. If you have your own salsa apply liberally and chow down baby. I also recommend a 1 1/2- 2 hour nap and you should be good to go!

        1. Love those Sapp noodles!

Though, I'm a day late and a dollar short, I love the Bo Kho at Mien Nghia in Chinatown.

          1. My hangover cure was a Bacon and Sausage Breakfast Burrito and a half gallon of OJ....Then in 2 hours later I had a Beef Cup o Noodle. It worked.
