      <content>Yeah, that show made me want to try loose meat sandwiches, too.  I was mildly disappointed when I finally went to a Maid Rite in Des Moines, but it wasn't bad.

But it's an Iowa thing - I don't think there are any Maid Rites in the Twin Cities.

      <content>I went to that address about a year ago. It's a strip mall and Maid-Rite was not there anymore. It became a pizza or gyro place IIRC. </content>

      <content>We also say a sign for Maid Rite while driving up 94 towards Fargo last week.  I can't remember exactly where it was but I want to say it was before Albertville.</content>

      <content>If you're ever in the Quad Cities (off I-80 on the IL/IA border), you must try the loose meat sandwiches at Ross's.  Far better than any Maid Rite. </content>

      <content>Not in the Twin Cities proper, but I recall that Dara showcased a Minnesota loose-meat sandwich joint in her Minnesota Monthly round-up of the state's best burgers last summer.
