Why doesn't New Jersey have a seperate board? [Moved from Tristate Region]

Why don't any of the countries I've lived in outside of the US have a separate board?

I guess CH would have to hire a lot more moderators if there were boards for everywhere on earth. Blame it on the economy.

jeez, while everyone else whines, the midwest board has 13 states and a population of
70,000,000+, about 1/4 of the country, but no one complains.
must be our stoic upbringing. :)

I think the easiest way to find out about your local area (if it isn't a "featured" area) is to search by your area's name... and if nothing is there, then start a thread! It is surprising how many CH'ers are right in your neck of the woods!

GarageRock, many NJ 'hounds wondered the same thing but Mods have reported no immediate plans to create any new Boards. So, we just work it out within the Boards NJ chowing does appear on for now.

I have noticed that the majority of your posts are on the Tristate board, Try tuning in to the Midatlantic board for more jersey posts.

i can't speak for GarageRock, but that depends where you are in Jersey...Mid-Atlantic isn't of much use for those of us who are just across the river from NYC.

I feel exactly the same way when searching for Long Island eateries. Long Island is geographically connected to two of the "Outer Boroughs" but isn't a part of NYC so it gets lumped in with places way up in Westchester, and as you said, Jersey places which are all on the other side of NYC from us! Luckily we LI hounds seem to find each other... I've found it helpful to use the search tool and type in my geographic area (i.e. "Long Island" or "Nassau County") to find relevant posts...
