Cuzco

has anyone tried the Peruvian restaurant on Route 50/236 near the location of what used to be the Persian 'Pars'? I assume there is a connection with other Cuzco in Arlington

The one in Bailey's pales in comparison to Machu Picchu (nearby) or Costa Verde (Ballston).

I actually dined there last night for the first time. 2 of the folks I dined with were Peruvian. It was very good and they enjoyed it as well. I had the Lomo Saltado, which is almost like a beef stir fry. The ceviche appetizer was fastastic and the pisco sours were authentic, with the whipped egg whites. I would definitely go back there again. It is a bit pricey, but you do get a lot of food.

Please ask your Peruvian friend for the best Peruvian cuisine in the DC area. I've heard La Canela is the best. How about Lima downtown?
