DH and I went there last Thursday night and were told they would be closed from Sunday, Jan 4 for one week to change over to meat. We expressed our disappointment and the manager said that they will be taking over the other half of the Goodman Hardware building and in a few months open a dairy restaurant there. Didn't make sense to us to do it that way, but then again, no one asked us...

hi, family members were there tonight, and they are becoming meat, and in a few months will have dairy as well, in another space next to this one.

hope the gnocchi is better as a meat version (see Mike's duck confit gnocchi). their dairy was tough and unimpressive.

I'm sorry to hear it. There are tons of meat restaurants around, and not nearly enough good dairy.

I think they are part of the Levana restaurant family, and Levana has closed or is clsoing in a couple of days. So they probably want to do the catering and elegant corporate lunches that levana was doing.

Did not know Levana's is closing, but the owner of Pasta Factory is definitely Levana's husband. I am also sorry to hear there is another meat restaurant... oh well.

Levana isn't closing, they're renovating. They'll be back in April.

Makes sense, since you can have dairy before meat but not the other way around. ;-)
