This is very, very sad, because the ones that are going to fail are not going to be the chains (that can weather the storm), but the unique/different family run businesses. Very sad. Fortunately there are other small, independent markets in Ann Arbor. The rest of the store was not too remarkable, and certainly not worth a journey over there. Prices were relatively high. There are other and often better sources for everything they sold. I don't buy much beer so I am not commenting on that. They never tempted me to buy wine, and I buy plenty of that. They didn't seem to know how to sell it. It's too bad they couldn't make it go, but to survive, a store like that needs a niche, and they didn't have one.
