Who has the best paella

Looking for a good spanish restaurant with traditional dishes. We are not too interested in Tapas. Any thoughts? I have seen mixed reviews of La Nacional and another Chelsea location called El Faro. We will be in SoHo but have a subway. Thanks in advance.

La Nacional is great. I haven't been to Socarrat, but since it's the same owners (and based on reviews I've read), I'd suggest it as well.

Thanks La Nacional is it. I have been reading about it in several places and it sounds interesting. We will be in town January 16 - 19 and hoping for a thaw----Brrrrrrr. Thanks again.

Try Socarrat on 19th and 8th. by the way, I think La Nacional has terrific paella - Socarrat is actually run by the same folks but a more paella-focused dining experience.
