Late-Night Mexican on Westside?

Are there any sit-down Mexican restaurants within 5-10 miles of West LA/Santa Monica that serve late? We were out tonight, a Sunday, driving around, unsure of where to try. I was surprised Don Antonio's closed at 10.

lares, 2909 pico, in santa monica is open til midnight and bar til 1:00 daily.

Juquila on Santa Monica near Barrington seems to be open until 1am every night. It's Oaxacan, not pure Mexican, don't know if that will do.

My wife and I went there tonight for the first time. It was great, but it's not open quite that late these days.

Paco's on Centinela is open until 11, I think

Here is a link to an old thread that grew out of a single post about 24 hour restaurants in LA. Not all, or even mostly Mexican, but then again the next time you are hungry late you may want other than Mexican. I also would check and see if a place is still open all night if you are planning to hit it after some event as this list is old and places change their hours, (if they are still in business is a consideration too).

Only one I know if is La Cabana. I've never been, but its on Lincoln and Rose I believe and open until like 1am.

I believe La Cabana is open even later than 1 a.m., as it tends to attract a crowd after the bars close at 2 a.m. My recollection is that it's open until 3 a.m. or so.

You're right....I checked the website and it is 3 am for closing time. Anybody want to comment on the food quality? http://www.lacabanavenice.com/Home.htm I've driven by the place lots of times heading home from an Irish style pub nearby. Although not nearby (but I think fitting your distance parameters), Cinco de Mayo (next door to Johnnie's) is open 24 hours. Not fancy at all, but it is open 24 hours when those cravings strike.

The food at La Cabana is not really worth eating, unless it's 2am and you've been slamming tequila all night.
