Fried Wontons/Hot oil a la Bamboo House

If you're like me, and mourning the loss of the East Village's Bamboo House, I'm looking to find a restaurant that serves a similar Fried Wontons in Hot Oil dish.
Bamboo House served perfectly deep-fried, ginormous wontons drowned in a very spicy, brown sauce.
Thanks in advance.

I never had the Bamboo House version, but i'm crazy about Grand Sichuan's Wontons in Hot Oil. There are a bunch of Grand Sichuans around town, and as far as I can tell this one, at the base of the Manhattan Bridge on Canal, right by the Fung Wah bus, isn't associated with the others. It's the kind of spicy where you have to be careful while you eat it -- if the oil touches the wrong spot in your mouth you will regret it.
