Coy's Steakhouse in Hot Springs, AR

We're thinking of going here tonight because we hear the steaks are to die for, but we don't know what to wear. I know it's a silly question, but the website says formal, business casual, and casual. But since there is valet parking I'm thinking it's not okay for us to go waltzing up in our jeans and sweatshirts.

  1. Sounds like you should wear NOMEX.

"Hot Springs correspondents tell us the venerable Coy's Steak House, a fixture in the Spa City since at least the 1940s, burned to the ground last night -- the eve of the opening of Oaklawn's live racing season."

    Bad news for sure.

    1. Yeah Bad news all around. Coy's was our first restaurant that we dined at, and our favorite. It was also the setting for our second wedding anniversary. That visit to Coy's is the picture I use here on this website. Every time I see the recent pictures of the fire I get a little sadden. Like the loss of a dear friend. I know that the quality has lacked in recent years, judging by some reviews. I think at this time it is doubtful of any restoration. The news reported at the time of the fire, that they would possibly reopen. I think now it is doubtful. So Sad.
