Upper East Side - New Year's Eve

Hoping to find a fun restaurant for a New Year's Eve dinner, preferably in the East 90s or upper East 80s for a group of 6-8. Any suggestions?

Try Zebu Grill - Brazilian. Kurio is good, has great cocktails, isn't "fun" in and of itself, but the owner is.

I was at Kurio last week and I believe they are offering full dinners relatively early New Year's Eve and then tapas and drinks later, so it should be a cheap alternative. Don't know if it will be the usual quiet crowd or if it will be raucous -- sometimes, it can be so.

My wife and I enjoyed the evening at Kurio. What a gem.

They roasted a suckling pig for the holiday and it was amazing.

          Thanks, Ruth.

Oh good. I learned about the place through CH, and specifically post by Dave Feldman on it. My husband would have loved that suckling pig.

Glad you enjoyed it. Now I remember they were doing a suckling pig early, and then tapas later. I still haven't been there when they roast a whole pig -- they do it periodically.
