Anyone know when Cafe Bravo on Hyperion will open?

The 'opening soon' sign has been up for months, but it doesn't look like anything is happening inside!
Anyone have the scoop?

Just got back from Cafe Bravo:

Food wasn't bad, not great either. Had the chicken shawarma plate: chicken got cold pretty fast but pretty tender and not dry. The hummus it came with was decent. My wife had the lule kebob sandwich and neither of us really liked it. Decor was nice enough and clean. The staff was ok and prices reasonable. Oh and the garlic sauce was pretty good.

If it's any good it will be crowded. Finally someone understands that the last thing Silverlake needs is more pizza.

I made a Gelson's run Sunday night for cookies and it looked open. When I ran across the street, it turned out to be closed, but still looked like it had been open earlier and I was simply too late.
There were lights and chairs up on tables, but no sign w/ hours and no menu posted. Anyone know more than this?

Still not open, but a friend went in and checked out the menu when they had the doors open. "Like Zankou, but a little more expensive," he said.

Still not open -- pretty aggravating! Suppose to be open last fall, no? I'm no restrauntaur, but does it make sense to lease a place for months and months without opening it??? Our hood needs this type of to-go restaurant, what are they waiting for?????

I am sure it's city related. Health inspections probably. There are usually a bunch of changes after the first health inspection.

It's ironic; the lights in their sign have already burned out and the restaurant hasn't even opened yet!
