New Years Eve Dinner in Ocean/Monmouth County?

  • 6

Wanted to go out to eat on New Years Eve with a few friends this year. I know it's super short notice and all.. but does anyone know of any specials going on in the Ocean/Monmouth County?

We're pretty much open to any kind of food. I was thinking of doing Sawa in Eatantown but I don't think they have any specials going on.

Anyway - any insight would be welcomed and considered!!

Thanks!

  1. Charley's in Long Branch is having an open bar, "gourmet" dinner, and a band. Don't know the price. I'll find out tonight and try to remember to post. Or you can call. http://www.charleysoceangrill.com/

CJ Montana's in Shrewsbury is having an event: http://www.cjmontanas.com/Special_Eve...

The Falls in Tinton Falls also: http://www.thefallsrestaurant.com/

You should have no problem making last minute plans at these places.

Charley's is $125 pp. The event is in the upstairs room. Downstairs is business as usual.

    2. If you want to go upscale, you can't do better than Nicholas.

You could call Belford Bistro to see if you they are doing anything special.

Here's a link to RGR's review of Steakhouse 85. The restaurant is offering an evening of jazz and dining New Year's Eve. Dh & I are going!

          HillJ,

I would have recommended Steakhouse 85, but it's in Middlesex County and while some towns are on or close to the Monmouth County border, New Brunswick is not.

We've been back for a second dinner. I'll be posting a report on the Steakhouse 85 thread, but suffice it to say we are still fans! :-)

I hope you and your DH have a great time on New Year's Eve!

Ah! In my excitement for NYEve, I forgot the county difference. Thanks for the tip, RGR. Dh & I haven't enjoyed NYEve out since 2002...we're due!
