kid-friendly but nice lunch near the Dia in Beacon?

Going to the Dia and need a place that will work for both our toddler and art-oriented mom-in-law. So kid-friendly but also nice. Any ideas?

Thanks!

Homespun Foods is a great place to eat lunch in Beacon. The menu is great, mostly casual fare, but very good quality. It's also kid-friendly.

There's a BBQ place on the main drag in Beacon (think it has a big porch on the side) that has ok ribs, by our admittedly hazy recollection. Not ribs at the level of Big W's in Wingdale, but ok for the Beacon trip. (Sorry I can't recall the name: it's the Serras I remember from my Dia trip...)

Piggy Bank. I believe I've seen in another thread that their food is not that great. I've only been there for a drink one night, and the bartender was very friendly. Their menu looked good, at the very least.

Dia itself has a nice little cafe, with a small menu of sandwiches, soups, salads etc. Not junk food; nice, interesting food. It's very casual and perfectly fine for kids.
