Best Naples Restaurant? Could Be.....

I have been to most of the "Hip Hop Happenin Houses" in Naples. I am fortunate in that my main vice is food, so my play money goes in that direction.. Luckily, with a sound work out program I stay somewhat slender:)

I was amazingly surprised at the turn around at this location.

Ambiance: Contemporary and extremely comfortable. Hipness at a nice level, (I hate places that are to overwhelming with cool)

Food: Flavors, Presentation and quantity are perfect. The chefs know what they are doing here.
The beet with sour cream appetizer was amazing. The Lobster Mac & cheese was novel and excellent. We shared a very nice chocalatty thing , that was good.

Service: Creative Mind readers here.... This staff has it together.... From bus, to head waiters to sommeliers....There around when you need them, transparent when you don't. If you have a chance, request Dennis Mejia as your waiter... If I owned a restaurant chain... he would train my staff.

What a fantastic experience...

It's not just you.. Sorry about that... It is the M Waterfront Grille....

Sorry... It's the M Waterfront Grille....

        2. I'll take a guess at M Waterfront Grille. I ate there a few weeks ago and I believe I noticed lobster mac and cheese on the menu. Dinner was great and the whole experience fits the qualifications mentioned by rjd. It's a totally different experience than the previous occupant, Maxwells.

You were right Rev., I hope you agree or will so in the future...

Are we talking about the old Maxwell's location. Last time I was there you had to weave your way through oxygen tanks (for the patrons) and the food was miserable. That is such a lovely setting, I am happy to hear about its new incarnation. LMF

Vibrant M waterfront replaced tired old Maxwells's forgettable food.
Chef Brian Roland, briefly at Cru, is at the helm, and it's now tasty and popular. The "oxygen tanks" complain about the fancy new food that requites teeth, so one night a week the other chef serves them their foods from the 80's.
