Has the Mexican hot dog gone main stream?

They also have Hawaiian hot dogs with pineapple salsa, Mango Dingo Dog (hot dog with mango salsa and jalepenos on top)

I was driving up Polk the day before Christmas and noticed this joint. Restaurants with the word 'Eats" in the name just have some gut-level appeal to me though like places with 'mom' in the title they are rarely good.

Looking, uh, elsewhere on the web, it seems to be popular and open late.

Favorably mentioned are sweet potato fries, blue cheese tater tots, onion rings, Porky's Revenge (pulled pork with caramelized onions, shallots and American cheese), French Connection (ham, brie, pear panini with lemon aiol), home made condiments and sauces.

There are some wraps and salads.

Seems like they are into mixed drinks like blueberry champagne, watermelon sangria and saketinis (beer and wine only), PBR $2 with any food purchase

I'm not sure if this joint is good or not. People who hate it really, really ... really hate it. Half the people who rave have been seriously drinking.

This was the site of Love's Cafe and across the street from Lush Lounge which has the same owner as Hank's.

Who's tried this place?
