Ideas for NYE

So 8 of us have reservations at Buddakan on NYE. Any suggestions as to where to go afterward? I know a lot of these places have a Prix Fixe going on for dinner and really don't allow you to just come into the bar for cocktails. Do any of you have any suggestions as to where to go for drinks? Somewhere in Olde City would be fine, or going towards Rittenhouse Square would be good as our hotel is over that way.

A couple of options in Old City would be National Mechanics and Society Hill Hotel Bar.
