i second cheeky's! for breakfast or lunch. great spot. king's highway @ the ace hotel is also a great option for breakfast, lunch or dinner.

There's a cute litlle tropical cafe in Palm Desert called Tommy Bahama's, great food and a fun ambiance there. For a nice dinner, check out BluEmber @ the Rancho Las Palmas Resort in Rancho Mirage. :)

Bit of Country is great for breakfast & lunch open til 2. Food is great, good portions, great prices and sit out on the patio if weather is good. Casual atmosphere.

I like the variety of John's for breakfast....but especially the hash brown potatoes...Fresh made omelets, biscuits and gravy with fresh jalapeno peppers...I have seen others say it is old and dirty, but I have not found that to be the case.

I also like the Fisherman's Market and Grill for sea foods.

I really enjoy breakfast/brunch at Azul (outdoor seating...so pick a nice day).. Dinks, tropical are good bests for lunch and dinner.
