Does anyone have any idea what's in the secret goo?

the title of your post intrigued me, so i did a little Googling. while i wasn't able to find the ingredients, i did see the nutritional info for it...

i can't imagine that any salad dressing could be worth eating for 220 calories and 24 grams of fat.

not exactly what i would expect from a place that markets itself as a place dedicated to "providing healthy foods."

anyway, i imagine you asked because you'd like to re-create it yourself...what is it about the stuff that tastes so good? are there elements of the flavor that you can identify?

I think it is a mayo/mustard thing but there is something that I can't place either.

The secret ingredient is liquid smoke. So mayo, mustard and liquid smoke. The real recipe may have something else in it, but those three together taste just like Erik's Secret Goo.
