Christmas dinner

My gf and I want to find somewhere to have dinner tonight, doesn't have to be Christmas dinner, almost anything will do. We're around College/Spadina so if it's within a reasonable walking distance, even better. I know that's a very wide open request but I'm at a loss for ideas. If nothing else comes up, I was thinking of giving Swatow a go (assuming it's open) because I've heard so many good things about it here.

7 West on Charles St is definitely open...when are they not open? Lai Wah Heen at the Metropolitan hotel is open, so is Chez Victor, and Dhaba on Queen/John...and I guess about every Chinese restaurant on the Spadina strip.

Swatow has its time — 2 am, when yer tanked — I'd go to Xam Yu at Spadina (east side) & Baldwin, a bit more upscale and v. good seafood mains. But EVERYTHING in CTown is open today. And really crowded, too.

How's E Pan at Spadina/Cecil?

Too late for your dinner tonight (unless you're eating really late...), but if you didn't end up going to E-Pan, I'd recommend it for a future dinner. I've had a few meals there, and I've never been disappointed.

I called 7 West Cafe and they are open today, that's where I think I may be headed.
