Taking my husband to NOLA for his 40th bday - it is where we met and where he went to college (Tulane) and where is granparents were raised! With that being said, we have not been in 6 years ....We are staying at the Windsor Court and get in Friday at 1:30PM and Leave Sunday at 1PM......

How about hitting spots that his grandparents theoretically could have visited? If they're still living, call 'em and ask 'em where they used to go...otherwise, here's my nostalgia roundup:
--Casamento's for a dozen raw and a fried softshell sandwich
--Camellia Grill for a cheeseburger & a mocha freeze, or for breakfast
--Parkway Bakery for a roast beef poboy (it's a reincarnated version of an earlier restaurant)
Be sure to make a late-night visit to Cafe du Monde. Oh, and the cheese fries at Fat Harry's are just as artery-clogging as ever.

Wow, great suggestion with Parkway Bakery. If you can get there, do it!
