West-end Butcher for Crown Roast of Pork

Any suggestions for a reputable, but not crazy-expensive (I know, I know, you get what you pay for) butcher who could hook me up with a crown roast of pork?

What should I expect to pay for such a cut?

  1. Call up O Nosso Talho on the north side of Bloor between Dufferin and Ossington. They do all things pork. You can get whole loins of pork with the bone in for less than $20 easy. Note that you have to ask them to cut off the chine bone for you, which they'll charge you like $2 for. No big deal. But if you go in and order or ask them to prepare a crown roast of pork, I'm sure it'd be no problem. I had them bone out a couple picnic pork butts for me yesterday so I could make porchetta. Also a great place for side or baby back ribs, whole oxtail, etc.
