finally made it out to Ford's Filling Station... had a work-day off, so we went to Ford's for lunch... very cool decor.. their outdoor patio area is definitely the place to sit... have heard about their house made headcheese and it was definitely delicious.. wish i had more :-)
staff was friendly and i would return for lunch or maybe try dinner one time...

To bad the burger was only average. I was interested in trying it.

What's with the spiral pattern on the bun?

My reaction to the burger was a lot more positive; I found it good enough to order again, even at the price. If you're there and feeling burger-ish, it wouldn't hurt to try it. Of course, any place can have an off day, or perhaps an uncharacteristically good one, and unless the burger is either spectacularly good or unforgivably bad I'd hesitate to base my judgment on just one visit.

We had brunch/lunch there a couple of weeks ago. After all the lukewarm reviews, I was hesitant, but it defintely passed muster. One had the burger and really liked it, DH had the eggs with hollandaise brunch which he loved, and I had a salad with chicken. I have many allergies, but they graciously changed out ingredients with no complaint. Great waiter, good food, I'll be back!
