Where can I buy a brioche loaf??

I have seen the little buns, but I need a whole loaf, as I intend to make a bread pudding with it. Any suggestions?

Agata & Valentina at E 79th St and 1st Avenue typically has it available.

The fancy bakery in KoreaTown - 32nd St. bet. 5th & 6th, on the north side of the street. Someone on the board should know the name.

Amy's bread in Chelsea market, Whole Foods carries Balthazars brioche loaf so that is a good choice.

Mrs. GG makes her famous French Toast soaked in Ronnybrook Egg Nog with the brioche loaf.

Try Whole Foods- they often sell breads from local bakeries. I recently bought one there which was made by Balthazar Bakery - it made excellent french toast! :)

Yes, I also purchased the Balthazar brioche loaf at Whole Foods as well. Delicious.

And I'm sure they will probably also sell it at Balthazar Bakery in Soho as well if that location is more convenient for you.

I've done the exact same thing. Whole Foods, Balthazar brioche, soaked in delicious batter to make a vanilla bourbon french toast. Cut 1.5" thick. Wonderful and totally decadent. Brioche all the way!

Corrado (or is it Zaro?) in the Grand Central Market has it.
