Is there any place in San Diego to find Honduran food - either restaurant or market?

Berta's Latin American Restaurant serves a mix of dishes from around Latin America including some Central American dishes but it isn't specifically Honduran.

    Edit: Beat to the punch.

Berta's in Old Town has some Honduran dishes on the menu. Have a look:

Me neither. Berta's is a gem.

              Great to know.

Any recommendations on what to order?

The menu offerings look great. I spent 12 days in Honduras and never saw a menu with food like that on it! We did eat with some locals on the beach once and they coated the chicken pieces in corn meal and deep fried it in a large dutch oven. They also fried plantains. I never saw a salad there! I did eat some great king fish that was smothered in this wonderful garlic sauce.

If you strike out in SD, LA has many excellent Honduran restaurants.

I think the closest is Salvadoran. What are you looking for?

            No shot to my knowledge.

Try a bigger city with a more diverse roster of restaurants and a more adventurous dining population.

If you want Mexican in San Diego, you got it.
