For challah, try Beldotti Bakery on Newfield Ave in Stamford. Might be Thursday/Friday only or special order the rest of the week. Call first.
If you like super eggy challah, Sweet On You in the Stamford JCC has Zomick's regular and whole wheat challahs on Thursdays.
