Seems like coals to Newcastle but, if that is what is desired, the choices are slim. In addition to the ones mentioned by Servorg, the new AK on Abbott Kinney in Venice has a few Swedish dishes on offer, Spago and 3 Square have a few Austrian specialties, if Poiish will do, you can add Warszawa.

Why not take to places that they can not get in their homeland, any German or Finnish places here can not compare to back home.

I agree for the nth time. If I were to fly to Italy to visit friends, I'd certainly be pissed off if they took me to Hard Rock or Hooters.

cincyn, seriously, you should be thinking of taking them out for Mexican (or any of the other Central American cuisines), Asian (Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Malaysian, etc. (most of which is world class, some of the best outside of their respective homelands)), any of the hundreds of fusion joints, or even a good ol' steak...

we definitely are going to those places as well as well as my favs. They asked me to find out so i told them i would.
I agree with you, however this is their one request. I'm sure it's just once and not the whole time..

German choices are getting thin, but they still beat the Swedish and Finnish choices.
