Light Corn Syrup Search

I'm making homemade Marshmallows for Christmas and the recipe calls light corn syrup. It is clear and colorless unlike regular corn syrup. Anyone seen this anywhere, I'm having trouble finding it.

I just found it last night at the Superstore (Scarborough). It wasn't in the baking aisle...it was with the pancake syrups.

i just finished making both marshmallows and divinity fudge, and i got mine at the Metro at College Park in the baking section. I think the Loblaws at the foot of Jarvis has it, too.

I've also had trouble finding this in the past, when making pecan pie, so I usually stock up in the States. I noticed it (Crown brand) recently, however, at Hermes kosher bakery on Bathurst just north of Glencairn.

robgm, I think you must be mistaking what mlukan is looking for with regular, honey-coloured corn syrup. I've not seen the clear corn syrup at any of the supermarkets you've mentioned.

not mistaken at all, it is a staple in my baking pantry (Crown brand too). No problems finding it in my high park/roncesvalles grocery stores...

Ive been to Metro, Sobeys, and Loblaws just recently and I couldnt find it and they told me they don't carry it. I guess I might have to make a drive out to High Park.
