Are you making a specialty food?

You fooled me once and there won't be a second time

I never click on ads but this one said it was a video on how the pros cook bacon so I bit. No video, just a stupid survey. I can't imagine why anyone would think that wasting someone's time is a clever idea but I will certainly go back to ignoring the clutter.

Yes, I agree with you that it's quite deceptive to have the CHOW logo on an advertisement to make you think there's some content there. Here's the image,

12/26--it's working now. Looks like a computer glitch, not intentional. Not a great Chowtip. By the way, I was in Albertson's a week ago, they have a huge HD screen set up near the meat counter. I'm shopping away, and I hear that familiar..."ziiip, swoosh, *CHOWtip*!" There was Aida flogging (herself and)CHOW on a video screen. In the supermarket, over the deep-fried frozen food chest. sheesh.

Thanks. It's a relief if the problem was a computer glitch and not intentional bait-and-switch but I'll still stick to the boards.
