brunch in calgary on New Years Day

Anywhere you CHer's can think of, nothing too fancy, just good for for a slightly larger group (ie. 10people), somewhere I can reserve. North side or west (no further south than glenmore trail).

  1. This might be tough...I think the only places that would be open are very casual with no reservations (like Nellie's) or quite upscale, like a hotel (such as the Palliser).

I am open to a hotel, just not overly expensive or a huge buffet. are there any hotels you would recommend that might fit the bill?

You could try the Hyatt -- they just have the essentials.

I think almost any hotel would have a brunch. If you want to be up in the NW, you could try the Ramada. Granted, the food isn't stellar, but it is likely to be reasonably priced and you could reserve.

You could also try the Royal Executive Inn in the NE.

I know the Delta downtown does a NYD buffet, but is probably >30$ pp.

I always like silver dragon for dim sum served all day on new years day.
