Tamale Time in Brooklyn!

Would love to know of any new recommendations, especially in Sunset Park. Is there anywhere in Brooklyn that makes Los Angeles-style tamales (as opposed to the more Oaxacan style prevalent in Sunset Park).

Do most stores make only on the weekend or will they be available Xmas eve?

Thanks for all recs.

In South Williamsburg, there is a little deli called "Mexico 2000" on Broadway between Keap and Hooper. In the back of the deli they make delicious food, including 3 types of tamales: one with chicken, one with pork and one cheese. Their tacos are great, too.

I think you mean green corn tamales, yes? Never have found them here but have enjoyed many other varieties.
